The New York Post and the journalist Kristen Fleming were brave enough to denounce the hard left medias’ gross opinion of the movie The Sound of Freedom. Kristen states in her article, ”the movie should hardly be dismissed as conspiracy porn.” The far-left media is claiming it is a QAnon conspiracy theory and only catering to those that are QAnon believers. Until today, I didn’t even know a QAnon conspiracy existed – I didn’t even know the definition of QAnon. Kristen Fleming continued to state in her article, “The Guardian called the movie “the QAnon adjacent thriller,” while Jezebel dubbed it an “anti-trafficking fantasy fit for QAnon.” Rolling Stone’s take: a “superhero movie for dads with brainworms.”” She also restated what “Journalist Mike Rothschild said on CNN: “These [kinds of] films are created out of moral panics … [‘Sound of Freedom’] specifically is looking at QAnon concepts of these child trafficking rings.”” Moral panic! You have got to be kidding me! I am gravely disappointed with the far-left media and their position on this, especially given CNN covered Ballard’s story back in 2014 in a documentary titled “The Fighters.” The documentary highlighted Operation Underground Railroad’s (OUR) undercover operations and rescue missions to save children from human trafficking. And now CNN is stating it is a “wild plot.” Nearly all of the left media is claiming that this is some QAnon-motivated film and there is only a “kernel” of truth within it. Abby Phillip stated, “The Sound of Freedom does focus on a real issue of sex trafficking, but that theme, it’s sort of like that kernel of truth that feeds the QAnon conspiracy.” WOW! I am appalled by the backlash on this film that exposes the reality of human, and specifically, child sex trafficking. According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), “Women and girls account for 4.9 million of those in forced commercial sexual exploitation, and for 6 million of those in forced labour in other economic sectors. 12% of all those in forced labour are children. More than half of these children are in commercial sexual exploitation.” I do not believe this is a QAnon-motivated or directed topic – it is real. People are not only trafficked for sex but for their organs as well. This is not a conspiracy theory. I will not sit idly by while the far left media supports the exploitation of any human. I wonder if it were their child or sister or mother or wife that was exploited if they would call it a QAnon conspiracy theory. I highly doubt it! God has given me a gift called a voice, and I intend to use it. Anyone possessing a single shred of decency should denounce these media outlets for their position regarding this movie. I guess this may be hitting too close to home for those outlets – they are all so close to the Epsteins and Weinsteins of the world. God will judge them, just like He will judge us all!

1/22/2022 0 Comments Toilet Paper WarsOkay, for years, Tim and I have been battling over toilet paper. Yes, I will admit in the beginning, I was the type of person who left two squares on the roll and walked away without remorse. However, I have faithfully kept the bathroom stocked with TP for the last six years, and I always change the roll. 1/13/2022 0 Comments Americans in EuropeHave you ever been in a situation where you felt like you didn’t quite fit in? It could be for any reason. Maybe what you’re wearing, the color of your skin, your age, your sex, or any one of a multitude of other reasons. And I’m not talking about situations where others made you feel that way; I’m talking about those times when the feeling is totally from within. For example, years ago, when I was in the Air Force, a lady I knew took her older son to a Gospel service on base during African American Heritage Month. Her son, high school age, told her after the service that it was a very awkward feeling being the only white people in the service, but went on to say it was enlightening to feel how others must feel at times. 1/12/2022 0 Comments It's a Hunger Strike!I saw on the news today that college students were going on a hunger strike. Regardless of the purpose of the hunger strike, who really cares? Why does it even warrant making the news? I’ve seen this used as a method of protest in the past, usually by a two-year-old. I’m always baffled, especially in America where people tend to be overweight – 73.6% in 2017-2018 (CDC National Center for Health Statistics). Maybe we should all go on a hunger strike! 1/1/2022 0 Comments Let Them Eat CakeBy Timothy Birdsell When Marie-Antoinette said that during the French Revolution, I doubt she even thought about people being lactose intolerant and couldn’t eat cake. Of course not. People still don’t give it much thought unless you are one of the 30 million Americans (MedlinePlus (www.medlineplus.gov) n.d.) that has some level of lactose intolerance or you cook for one with the disorder – like my wife. |
